How to make this recipe
step 1. Brown the ground beef in a large stock pot or Dutch Oven over medium heat.
step 2. Add the onion, carrot, celery, and garlic, & saute for 10 mins, until vegetables are tender.
step 3. Add remaining ingredients, except pasta, & simmer for 1 hour, stirring often.
step 4. At 50 mins into simmer time, cook the pasta according to package directions, until al dente. Drain the pasta and add to the pot of soup.
step 5. Simmer for 5 to 10 mins and serve. Top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
