American Chop Suey Goulash

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 2 large sweet onions, chopped3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2(15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 cups cooked, elbow macaroni




  • How to Make It



  • 1.In a Dutch oven, saute the ground beef over medium high heat until no pink remains
  • 2.Drain
  • 3.Add tomato sauce,diced tomatoes, bay leaves and salt and pepper. Stir.
  • 4Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  • 5.Add cooked elbows and stir into meat and tomato mixture. Cook until heated through
  • 6. Remove bay leaves before serving
